Mr. Schulz was President and Chief Investment Officer of M&I Investment Management Corp, a $17 billion investment advisor prior to founding QIS Advisors in 2004. QIS Advisors was a boutique quantitative investment advisory firm and predecessor to MQS Advisors. Mr. Schulz was instrumental in forming proprietary mutual funds, securities lending, and asset allocation programs. He is a holder of one patented quantitative investment process with another patent pending. Prior to 1993, Mr. Schulz was Director of Fixed Income for M&I and was a former Morningstar Five Star Manager. Mr. Schulz , holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, He is a member of the Security Analysts Society of Milwaukee, and a trustee of Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
